Sengkang Swimming Complex: Pools, Slides, Hours and Entry

Sengkang Swimming Complex is the public pool at Sengkang Sports Centre, on Anchorvale Road near Farmway LRT station. It is one of the few public pools in Singapore with a full set of water slides, and one of only two that Sport Singapore lists as sheltered. Sengkang Swimming Complex is an ActiveSG Feature Pool at 57 Anchorvale Road, Singapore 544964, with five water slides and a sheltered pool. It is open from 8am to 9.30pm every day except Monday, and the competition pool opens from 6.30am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Adult entry is $1.50 on weekdays and $2.00 on weekends.

What You Will Find at the Complex

ActiveSG’s listing for the complex classes it as a Feature Pool, the category for public pools with water play attractions, and notes that it returned to that category on 1 July 2025. It is also listed as an Inclusive Pool, with a pool wheelchair available if you or someone in your group needs one.

The listing names five slides, each with its own minimum height. Sugar Rush, Rainbow Dash and Cotton Candy Bowl need riders to be at least 1.3m tall. Jelly Lime Loops and Jellybean Swizzle need riders to be at least 1.2m tall, so if your children are smaller, they can usually ride those two first.

Alongside the slides there is a competition pool for lap swimming. ActiveSG lists the complex as one of two sheltered pools run by Sport Singapore, which makes it a good choice for you on a hot or drizzly afternoon. Outdoor areas can still close in bad weather.

Sengkang Swimming Complex Opening Hours

The complex is open from 8am to 9.30pm every day except Monday. On Mondays it closes for the whole day for maintenance, unless the Monday is a public holiday, so plan your weekly swim for another day.

The competition pool also opens early, from 6.30am to 8am, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. That early session is the quietest time for lap swimmers, before the slides open and families arrive. ActiveSG posts any temporary closure on its listing, so check it before you make a special trip.

Entry Fees

Because it is a Feature Pool, the complex charges ActiveSG’s Special Features rate rather than the lower Normal Pool rate. ActiveSG’s individual rates page lists adult entry for Singapore citizens and permanent residents at $1.50 on weekdays and $2.00 on weekends and public holidays, and $0.80 and $1.00 for children and seniors. Other adults pay $2.00 on weekdays and $2.60 on weekends.

Getting to Sengkang Swimming Complex

Farmway LRT station on the Sengkang West loop is the closest stop, about 280 metres from the complex in a straight line, measured on OneMap. If you come from Sengkang MRT station on the North East Line, take the LRT to Farmway or allow for a walk of about 1.1 kilometres in a straight line. Google Maps directions from Farmway LRT show the walking route. The complex sits inside Sengkang Sports Centre, so look for the sports centre signs on Anchorvale Road.

When to Visit

Weekday mornings and the early competition-pool sessions are the calmest times for lap swimming. Weekend afternoons are the busiest, when families come for the slides, so expect more noise and fuller lanes if you go then.
